Introduction to CB certification

The International Electrotechnical Commission qualified electrician product testing and certification organization (IECEE) certification authority (CB) is a system of electrical products (including electrical and electronic equipment, devices and components) standard product safety system safety test report and certificate of mutual recognition of the first truly international system of.CB system based on the international recognition, and the use of CB test laboratory (CBTL) global network.CB test lab is responsible for product testing, which is in accordance with the relevant technical standards. The test results must be submitted to the CB system of each member of the national certification authority (NCB), the national certification institutions authorized by the CB testing laboratory testing products legally enter the market, without any other test.

Key steps in CB system

The manufacturer submits a product sample to the CB test lab to test whether it meets specific IEC standards and is consistent with any technical requirements in the IEC standard applicable to the certification country

Perform product testing CB testing laboratory, to assess whether the product meets the technical requirements. If the product meets all technical requirements, CB testing laboratory will be issued CB certification test report and test for related products manufacturers.

Then the sample submitted by the manufacturer, CB test report and test certification to the national certification of the relevant countries, so as to obtain national certification. This certification that the product meets the national technical standards, to obtain legal permission to enter the market.
